How to Access Voicemail Programming & Auto Attendant Areas
With Feature 983.
The password consists of two parts: the system co-ordinators mailbox number (which depends on the DN length) and the personal password. Use the following table to determine your default password:
To enter administration programming:
Feature 983 then enter the log code (System Manager mailbox # followed by its password) & OK
The System Manager mailbox can be 12, 102 or 1002 depending on how many digits your ext # is.
The default password for System Manager is 0000, it may have been changed to 1234, 1111, or other.
Example: if you are X221 then you are a 3-digit system, so use: 1020000 (where 0000 is the password)

Change the greeting in AA
- Press Feature 983
- Enter LOG Code: _____, press OK
- Press AA
- Press Grtg, press Grtg again
- Enter the Greeting Number 1
- Press OK
- Press Rec… record greeting, press OK when done
- Press OK to accept the recording: press Rls when done
Change the greeting to play through parts of the day
- Press Feature 983
- Enter LOG Code: _____, press OK
- Press AA
- Press Table, press 1, press OK
- Press Change to 1 (Greeting 1)
- Do this for Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Non-Business(if using)
